They were comfortable and hydrating to wear, though they were shorter-wearing due to the amount of slip, so most shades wore for three hours with a few of the richer and deeper shades lasting almost five hours on me. The consistency was lightweight with moderate slip and felt like a lipstick-lip balm hybrid as a result, and the finish was glossier and more luminous (without being overtly shimmery/pearly). The lighter shades were the least forgiving and sometimes emphasized or gathered around lip lines and lip texture, while mid-tone and deeper shades often applied beautifully with even coverage and in a way that made my lips appear smoother and plusher. The colour of this lipstick is mix of copper, rust and brown with loads of golden shimmer. The formula is supposed to have "sheer to medium, buildable" coverage with "hydrating shine" while helping to "reduce fine, dry lines and lip flakiness." The majority of the shades had more medium, buildable coverage that could be built up to nearly opaque coverage. The finish is extremely light reflective, and glittery. It also appears very frosty, which is not something I prefer. I love this colour, but it is sad that it is just too glittery and shimmery. It actually leaves shimmers on my lips after the lipstick has worn off, which is not what I prefer. This has to be one of my least worn lipsticks.Ĭonsidering the amount of glitter in it (overload I would say) the texture is amazingly smooth and it easily glides on the lips. Also it doesn’t bleed or settles in fine lines on lips. Because of its creamy and buttery texture, it can melt quite a bit in summers and I would recommend keeping it in cool places.

It lasts for couple of hours, but glitter particles just refuse to go away. I really have to watch out for glitter fallout in case the lipstick smears. The glitter could easily transfer to dark coloured clothing as well. I had to use an oil based makeup remover and a lip scrub to get rid of the glitters. Even after removing the lipstick from lips, there were still traces of glitter on my chin that I had a hard time removing. This product will be nice to use as a top coat on brown lipsticks. IMBB Rating: 2.5/5 (deducted for shimmer overload) Overwhelming smell: can be a con for some.Pros of Estee Lauder Tiger Eye Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick:Ĭons of Estee Lauder Tiger Eye Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick: Try it with a plum or red liner, it totally changes the colour and looks simply stunning! On special occasions you can use this lipstick on matte ones to add the shimmer. Would I recommend/repurchase Estee Lauder Tiger Eye Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick? No. I don’t prefer to have glitter in my lipsticks and this one is too over the top for me.
